St. Vincent's Blount’s Diagnostic Imaging Department is staffed with board certified radiologists and registered radiological technologists in every modality. We are accredited in Mammography by the American College of Radiology.
Imaging Services is an advanced diagnostic department featuring a GE 1.5 MRI unit with the most current software available.
- The CT Department includes one Helical CT scanner.
- Ultrasound services, fluoroscopy and diagnostic X-ray are available.
- A full range of Nuclear Medicine Studies.
- The Nuclear Medicine Department has a single-head Genesis/ ADAC system.
This camera provides superior technology and unrestricted patient access to expand diagnostic capabilities.
- Other diagnostic imaging includes the latest in Digital Mammography technology and a GE Lunar Dexa Scan Unit.
Additionally, we offer a quick report turn around time on:
- Routine Studies less than 24 hours.
- Rapid Report Access through the Physician Horizon Portal.
- Communication Director allows the final report to be automatically faxed to the Physician Office.
- Radiologist on site 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with on-call support after hours.
- Convenient scheduling for all Outpatient Procedures.
Walk-up Outpatient Registration is available 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
